
Two ivory
smuggling suspects will tomorrow morning (Wednesday) be arraigned at the Kibera
Law Courts in Nairobi.
Ruth
Ochola, 57, and Stephen Glommi Mbot, 45, will face charges ofr being in illegal
possession, dealing with a government trophy and failing to make a report to
authorities.
Kenya
Wildlife Service (KWS) officials arrested them with five pieces of ivory in
their hideout at Umoja estate, in Nairobi, following a tip off from the public.
They have
been booked at Langata Police Station awaiting arraignment in court tomorrow.
